Christmas Lunch
Dear Kim Schnyder,
We very much enjoyed today’s Christmas Lunch at Casa Pascal.
The service was attentive and professional. The ambience was warm and welcoming with the right mix of traditional, classic charm with a contemporary feel.
The food was delicious, well-balanced and beautifully presented, full of vibrant flavours and interesting textures. The platter of meats and seafood was outstandingly good with the pate and Cumberland sauce being of extremely high quality.
We loved the main Turkey dish, classic but contemporary, with strong flavours and redolent with rich Christmas memories and emotions. The turkey was moist and beautifully tender and dripping with Christmas cheer.
The Christmas pud was a refined take on a classic with just the right balance of sweetness and lightness. The Jamacian ice cream was the perfect accompaniment.
We loved the array of serving dishes and cutlery and table settings and the gracious service.
This was such a perfect Christmas Lunch. It exceeded our expectations and we absolutely loved the whole experience.
Thank you and congratulations on running such a fine restaurant.
Thank you,
End of Tour Lunch
Kim & Pascal
Thanks so very much for hosting our end of tour lunch yesterday.
The feedback I have received has been 100% positive.
The food was excellent and the service outstanding.
There is no doubt that we will be back if our tour comes to Pattaya again next year.
Please thank all your staff from me and also let me know if there is somewhere that I can give a write up - Trip Advisor, etc
If you can find a restaurant in Pattaya
with superior service, nicer ambience and better food then please let me know! I have been searching for 15 years, but I always come back to Casa Pascal, and somehow it just keeps getting better.
The Service is always perfect
Dear Pascal and Delicious Kim, Caroline and I had a tremendous pleasure dining in your restaurant... Yesterday the quality and the taste of the food was just out of this world... from Your “goes with bread” with a bit of Indian flavor, then your dim sum amuse bouche... with this black dressing... to the chanterelle just Al dente… perfect... then my Lobster... Simple I have dreamed about it during the night so juicy and tasty it was…Caroline has also most enjoy her Veau Blanc... without forgetting the Roesti... always equal to themselves. The last 2 times we came and you were not here... unfortunately we had noticed it a bit... although Chef Ottelo (we like him a lot) surprise us with some dishes. The White wine from Bordeau “entre deux Mer” was the cherry on the cake. Congratulations, well done. Looking forward to patronize you again and see your Rock in Stock ?
Restaurant combining great food, wine and atmosphere
Twelve friends dining at Casa Pascal. Made a reservation a day before, handed in the names of the attendees and arrived to a beautifully decorated table with named place cards. Kicked off with some champagne and aperitifs before diving into starter and main course indulged with fine wine from Italy. The waitresses and waiters are very friendly and helpful all night. Some of us finished off with dessert, whereas some skipped that part as the starter and main with a couple of refreshments and bread, serves a normal person very well on the portion side. This was one out of many visits to Casa Pascal, only the first time for a few – it will certainly not be the last. We decided to make this an annual tradition for this particular group of friends from all parts of the World; Thailand, Cambodia, India, the USA and Norway.
Delightful Dinner
I’ve been to Casa Pascal each time I visit Pattaya. Each time they never disappointed and this time was no different. I picked the King Alaskan crab legs as a starter followed by a lobster bisque and for my main course, their oven baked rack of lamb. The kitchen quickly sent me two starters while I waited for my meal. The first was mozzarella and tomato, and then I was served with a ham and potato pancake. The crab legs arrived with 3 types of sauces to go with it – I preferred the spicy Thai variety of the three. The portion was generous and the crab was sweet and fresh. The lobster bisque which came a quick second was still delectable with bits of lobster in it. The bisque itself was a delicious velvety texture and ask for cognac in it instead of port wine. Before the main came, the kitchen served up a refreshing palette cleanser – sorbet topped with mint leaves. It was welcome given the humid weather here! The lamb was excellent – just the right amount of fat and the seasoning was great – you wouldn’t need the sauce to go with it, but it’s great just as well with the rosemary sauce. I was stuffed at the end of these three dishes having downed a glass of champagne and some red wine. I didn’t order dessert but if I were to recommend one from past experience, go with the crepe Suzette. It’s a wonderful dessert they serve here and you get a mini show at your table as it’s prepped. Casa Pascal – a must-stop for dinner if you’re in Pattaya.
